Once on the moon, head to the crystal palace. Once there, go to the
centre of the crystal room to be transported to the path to the moons
core. On the way down to the moons core, you'll be able to get the
strongest weapons in the game for the guys, but you'll have to fight
for each one of them. In the room where you start there are two secret
passages and one regular passage. The secret passage on the left leads
to a Ninja (body) for Edge. The secret passage on the right eventually
leads to the Murasame sword for Edge, but since it's one of Edge's
strongest weapons it's guarded by a boss (see bosses: Pale Dim). The
regular passage in the starting room will take you onward towards
the core. From here the path is pretty straight forward, with a few
small rooms off to the side in which more treasure is hidden. When
you get to floor B6 there's a secret bridge off to the left side of
the screen. It isn't that hard to spot, since it looks like a bridge
should be there.
This path eventually leads to a save point, and right after that you'll
find the strongest sword in the game, the Crystal sword, which is
guarded (see bosses: Wyvern). On B7 there are three rooms right in
succession. The first contains a save point (which you should use),
the next one contains the White lance, which, of course, is guarded
(see bosses: Plague). The third room contains two Ribbons, which are
guarded as well (see bosses: D. Lunar). After floor B7 you'll enter
a crystalline area. All of the battles here are considered to be boss
fights, so if you want to escape from them you'll have to use either
Exit, or Edge's Smoke. On the fourth one of these floors you may encounter
an enemy called Breath; if you do, just run, beating this guy isn't
worth the trouble you'll have to go through.
After this floor you'll arrive at the core of the moon, where Golbez
and FuSoYa are engaged in a battle with Zemus. Although they defeat
him, his hatred remains in the form of Zeromus, who you will now have
to face (see bosses: Zeromus).
After you've defeated Zeromus there's nothing left to do except sit
back and watch the ending. |
