| 19. Castle of Dwarves | |
| Enemies: Outside- Armadilo, Tortoise, Dark Imp, Black Liz; Inside-
Calbrena (boss), Golbez (boss) Treasure: Dwarf (axe), Ether1 x2, Strength (ring), Ether2, Elixir x2, Cure2, Black Belt, Carrot x3, Cabin x3 When you enter the castle, just go straight ahead and meet Giott the King (at this point Cid will leave). Right afterwards you'll be thrust into a battle against the Calbrena (see bosses: Calbrena), and right after that a battle against Golbez (see bosses: Golbez). During this battle Rydia shows up and saves you, then joins your party once it's over. Golbez manages to get away, though, and takes the crystal with him. After this all happens, Giott will ask you to go and infiltrate the Tower of Bab-il. Go around the castle, buy some stuff, rest up, and get all the treasures, then talk to one of the dwarves in the basement to gain access to the secret exit at the back of the castle. From here head northwest to the Tower of Bab-il. |
