| Enemies: Eagle, Float Eye, Imp, Sword Rat Treasure: 300 GP, Cure1 x5, Tent x4, Ether1, Heal x3, Life After the opening sequence, you'll be free to explore Baron Castle. Walk around, talk to people, and just get a general feel for everything. Be sure to grab the numerous treasures around the castle. When you're ready to continue, head to the left side of the castle. Rosa will meet you here and speak with you a little. Continue on and Cid will speak with you. You can then head to the left tower and rest for the night. In the morning you'll meet up with Kain and head out. Before heading onward, you should first make a stop in the town of Baron. If you're new to the game, you might want to stop by the Beginner's House to learn a few things (you can also find a man called Namingway here who can change the names of your characters). There are numerous treasures hidden around the town of Baron, so be sure to search everywhere, including in pots, in shelves, and even in the water. Also, the crossed swords in the Inn are a switch for a hidden door, which will allow you to get a few more treasures. You should also stock up on some Cure1 while you're in town. When you're all finished, head northwest to the Misty Cave. |
