Ogre, Egg, Lamia, Q. Lamia, Iron Man, Grudger, Rubicante (boss) Treasure: Cure3 x2, Ogre (axe), 2000 GP, Middle (sword), 82,000 GP, Cure2 x2 From Cave Eblana, you can enter the Tower of Bab-il, and move upwards towards the crystal room. There's a save point on B3F, and on B5F you'll find Edge's parents. However, they've been turned into monsters and attack you. They're extremely weak, though, and you shouldn't have any trouble taking them out. Rubicant then comes, and after replenishing your HP and MP, fights you (see bosses: Rubicant). Before continuing onward from here, be sure to get the treasure chest to the left (if you haven't gotten it already), because it contains a whopping 82,000 GP. When you continue into the crystal room, you stumble across a pitfall and fall to a lower part of the Tower of Bab-il. After continuing down a few floors you'll get a new airship, the Falcon. Use this to return to the dwarves' castle, and speak with King Giott. He'll tell you that you need to get the final crystal from the sealed cave, and gives you a key to get into it. However, to get to the sealed cave you'll need to cross the magma, and right now your airship can't do that. Fortunately, you can find Cid in the castle's nursing room, and he'll fix up the airship so that it can go over magma. Now you can head southwest to the final crystal. |
