| 28. Getting Excalibur | |
| Enemies: -- Treasure: -- Once you've picked up the Rat tail from the Land of Monsters (and the Big Whale has appeared), you can get Excalibur, the second most powerful sword in the game. To do so, get in the Enterprise, hook the hovercraft, and drop it off right next to Silvera. Get in the hovercraft and use it to cross the shallows to get to a cave on a small nearby island. In this cave you'll find a couple of mini-men, and if you give one of them the Rat tail he'll give you some Adamant Ore. Take the ore to Kokkol the Smith in the southeast of the underworld (while you're there you should also search the place for a Heal, Cure2, and Elixir). Kokkol will take the Adamant and your Legend sword and turn it into Excalibur. You now have the second best sword in the game. |
