Enemies: Soul, Red Bone, Spirit, Ghoul, Revenant, Lilith, Ghast,
Skeleton, Milon (boss),Milon Z. (boss)
Treasure: Cure1 x2, Ether1 x2
Head east to Mt. Ordeals. When you get there the way is blocked by
fire, but Palom will take care of it with an Ice spell. Most of the
enemies here are undead, so most are weak to fire, and can also be
hurt with cure spells. When you get a little way up the mountain,
Tellah will join you once again. Continue onwards until you get to
a save point. Be sure to rest up and save your game, because a boss
is right around the corner. When you start to cross the bridge you'll
be attacked by the earth fiend Milon (see bosses). When you beat him,
change your party order so that Cecil and Tellah are in the back,
and Palom and Porom are in the front (trust me), then continue across
the bridge. As you do, Milon will attack you again (see bosses: Milon
Z.), but this time from behind. However, the joke will be on him,
since you followed my advice and changed your party order (right?).
After defeating Milon for the second time, you can continue onward
to your destination. Before Cecil can become a Paladin, though, he
must fight his Dark Knight self. During the battle you'll see some
words telling you not to fight. Follow that advice and just do nothing.
When your HP gets low you'll automatically win. Cecil is now a Paladin,
and Tellah also remembers all of his spells, as well as learning Meteo
(although he can't use it yet). On the way back down the mountain,
Cecil will gain levels like crazy, since he starts on level 1 as a
Paladin. Head back to Mysidia and speak to the elder, then take the
Serpent Road back to Baron. |
