1. Lost Sanctum

The first of the two bonus dungeons is made available to you as soon as the Black Omen rises from the Ocean. Ideally, doing all the other available sidequests (check out the links below) will give you higher levels, the (currently) best weapons for each character, making the dungeons easier to progress through. Additionally, I'd strongly advise going around the Middle Ages and the Present picking up the items in the Sealed Chests — specifically the various coloured vests and plates. They'll help a great deal against some of the elemental bosses you'll face.

Right. So, you're prepared and ready to take on the Lost Sanctum. No extreme levels are required — a well balanced and equipped party of level 40 will be able to tackle this dungeon without a problem. The two entrances to the Lost Sanctum are in the Middle Ages and Prehistory. However, trying to go to the Middle Ages portal to begin with will result in your party complaining that there are too many enemies, so that leaves you with Prehistory.
