13. The Masamune!

The old man at the End of Time will recommend that you travel to Melchior's Hut near Medina Village, so take that Pillar of Light and head there. Melchior will go downstairs to fix the sword, and depending upon who is in your party, either Lucca or Robo will go downstairs to lend a hand. Follow them downstairs and watch for awhile, and eventually they'll have the sword fixed. Return once again to the End of Time.

Travel back to the Middle Ages and make for the Cursed Woods. Talking to Frog will activate a set of flashbacks regarding Cyrus and Glenn's initial journey to get the Masamune and defeat Magus. Afterwards, Frog will join your party and you'll be off to the Magic Cave. Before heading there, however, travel back to the End of Time. Spekkio will teach Frog to use Water magic and allow him to continue learning new techs.

The Magic Cave is east of Fiona's Villa. When you enter, Frog will have more flashbacks about Cyrus and himself and finally take the Masamune. He'll create an opening, allowing your party to access the cave.

This is a very short and straightforward dungeon that gives good Tech Points. Your enemies will yield to Lucca's Napalm attack, allowing you to take out many enemies at once. Beware of what follows the second battle - if you aren't fast enough running from the Gremlins you'll be sucked into two battles. Note the Sealed Box. At the exit of the cave, there is a dead soldier with a note regarding an enemy in Magus' Castle. Keep this in mind.
