26. Ozzie's Fort

What? Ozzie isn't dead from that icy fall? Well, you'll just have to take care of that! This quest can help you get Magus' best armor. Ozzie's Fort is located to the east of Magus' Castle. For added fun, bring Magus along.

As you walk in, Ozzie will greet you. If Magus is with you, he'll ask why Magus deserted the Mystics, but then leave before getting an answer. Follow him, and he'll sic Flea on you. Defeat it, then move on. He'll try to get some goblins to fight you, but they'll fall through the floor. Afterwards, Slash will appear and try to combat you. In the next room, Ozzie will try to trick you into getting chopped up by bribing you with a treasure, but if you walk on, an Imp will arrive and Ozzie will accidentally kill it, and then leave, allowing full access to the FullEther. But wait...before you leave this room, there's a secret. Near the right side of the screen, there is a secret path leading south. Keep walking against the wall until you find it, and you'll get Magus' best armor and weapon, along with a Magic Tab.

In the next room, the three will all come together for a difficult fight.

If you have all three of these, you're set! Attack them one at a time, beginning with Slash, then Flea, and finally Ozzie.

After the battle, grab the chests and follow Ozzie. He'll put on his ice defense once again, and hitting the only switch available sends you through the floor. Pick yourself up and go after him again, but this time a cat will come out of nowhere, hit a switch, run away, and the floor under Ozzie will open up. Goodbye!
