2.7: Pinnacle Rocks

Enemies: Zaghnol, Sand Scorpion, Seeker Bat

Treasures: δMythril Vest, δMythril Armlet, δElixir, δPhoenix Down, δPeridot, δThe Ogre

Here, old man Ramuh says he will hide five manifestations of himself; find them for they each carry a piece of the "Hero's Story," then tell the story to him in full. Don't forget to deliver Mosh's letter for Monty while you're here.

Here's where the pieces are:
  • Return to the crash site, where an apparition will appear in the same spot as where you just spoke to Ramuh.
  • In Monty's screen, a figment appears on top of the root overhang.
  • In Monty's screen, go down to water level and look under the root overhang roughly in the middle of the screen. (At the very bottom of the screen there is a chest containing a δMythril Vest.)
  • Stay in the water and exit west from Monty's screen; an apparition is found in front of the chest (containing δThe Ogre) immediately before you.
  • Go up the incline and exit into the next screen; cross the bridge and head halfway down the descending path, where you will have the option to jump over to a treasure chest (containing a δMythril Armlet) and then back down to creek-level, where you will find the last apparition.
When you collect all five, gather by the part of the map marked 'EXIT' and Ramuh will want your findings. Tell the story in this order:
  1. "Beginning"
  2. "Cooperation"
  3. "Silence"
  4. "Human" OR "Hero"
Ramuh will disappear and give Dagger a δPeridot accessory, which lets her re-learn the Ramuh eidolon summon. Monty will get a letter from Stiltzkin in the meantime, and you can read it with him if you chooses to backtrack at this point before descending towards Lindblum.

When you jump off, automatic scenes take you to Lindblum. But, know that there is an δElixir and δPhoenix Down chest near the foreground creek if you didn't get them the first time around.
