This thread and this thread are pretty much the same as what you have here. You should always use a search function to check for existing topics before you post a new topic, and if you revive a REALLY old topic you should provide a little explanation.
Edit This thread has some quality in there too. Zodiac's BloodKnight setup found there seems to be a more powerful version of your brickwall setup. This post has been edited by laszlow on 13th April 2006 01:35 -------------------- |

Ok, im offically confused.
What is the point of this thread exactly? To List off are favorite Set up's as far as class combos go? Because Sam is treating this more like the "Invent-a-class" thread... Anyway... if It's about are favorite Skill combinations, I would have to say, at least early in the game, I tend to go with Monks, with Basic Skill. An especially useful combination for gaining experience, and JPs at lower levels (Gained JP Up + Accumulate) Plus as the monk's well balanced skill set, makes for some pretty strong starting characters. Later in the game, I tend to use Knights alot for some reason, (usually with math skill, or talk skill {....yes... talk skill...} ) I think purely due to the fact that they have high HP (being able to equip armor and all) Aswell as a fairly decent amount of MA, and are able to equip shields. This allows for good HP/Evasion + Spell casting power one would hardly be able to match, maybe short of a geomancer (but they cant equip armor ![]() Math Skill is odviously one of the (if not the) most powerful and overall useful skills in the game, but sometimes I also use Talk Skill. Its simple really, I'll use Speed Break on an enemy a few times, and then use Persuade on them, Lowering their Count Time to 0. It effectively assures that the enemy character will not have a turn for awhile, or, ever again. Of course, this takes time, but if your in a situation where your trying to keep 1 last enemy alive (Like in the deep dungeon to find Hidden Items or the Entrance to the next floor for example) it can be extremely useful. -------------------- Quote <FrPhoenix[Around]> "Burgleburgleburgle" |
