Final Fantasy Tactics Walkthrough
After the events of chapter two, Ramza begins chapter three by deciding to go to Lesalia to speak with Zalbag about the War of the Lions and how he suspects that someone is manufacturing the conflict for other purposes. No trip in Ivalice is ever straightforward, though!

After this battle, you're going to wish that Olan would join your party, but unfortunately, this is the only battle you'll get to see his awesome power at work on your behalf. Olan can use the spell Galaxy Stop which attempts to inflict all enemies with Stop, Don't Move, and Don't Act. When this happens, the enemies are sitting ducks for your characters.
The only thing you might want to do is steal the guns from the enemy Chemists because they're better than any you can buy at this point and still have the range of your original
Romanda Guns. Galaxy Stop doesn't always hit, so there will likely be enemies who are still taking shots at you throughout the battle. Aside from that, there's nothing to worry about here and it might prove to be a good time to start to blood in some new jobs if you haven't switched things up in a while.
With that in mind, though, it's worth noting that if Galaxy Stop doesn't hit several enemies when Olan first uses it, he might take a lot of damage quickly and will likely be unreachable by your healers in at least the first turn. Be prepared to send units his way ASAP.
Olan will introduce himself as a knight in the service of Goltana once the battle is over. He briefly reacts upon hearing Ramza's last name but attempts to cover his reaction and doesn't speak to it. Ramza offers to go along with Olan, but they're going in opposite directions. Olan, leaving, cryptically tells Ramza to stay alive until they meet again. Thanks, man, that isn't concerning at all.
