Biography

Barich is a Knight Templar who joined that army after living in and learning the Machinist ways of Goug. The Templarate accepted him due to the many useful and unique skills he brought from there, such as the ability to fight with guns and knowledge of apothecary, particularly the knowledge of poison.

Barich utilizes his poisons to attack Ramza and his party, as well as Larg's forces advancing upon Fort Besselat. Ramza kills him in battle, but Barich is resurrected by the Lucavi to meet and fall in battle again to Ramza late in the story.

Personae Entries

A Knight Templar of the Church of Glabados. Ser Barich was a machinist in Goug before joining the templarate. As a result, his pistol skills far outmatched his swordplay. Born a commoner, Barich joined a movement against the aristocracy in his younger days. Due to this, his name had appeared on a blacklist kept by the templarate. He died fighting in the Beddha Sandwaste.
