Biography

Once a knight of the church in Lionel, Beowulf is now a mercenary specializing in monster hunts. He will only encounter Ramza during a certain sidequest, but once found, he will relate that he is truly looking for one monster - a dragon of holy energy named Reis. If he completes this quest, he will be willing to permanently join the party.

A monster hunter by trade, Beowulf pursues the Holy Dragon of legend.

Former leader of the Gryphon Knights of Lionel. When Celebrant Bremondt fell in love with Beowulf's fiancée Reis, he had Beowulf declared a heretic, stripping him of rank. Beowulf searched long for Reis, who had been changed into a dragon by the celebrant's curse, and found her at last in Gollund. He was able to return her to human form through the power of a Zodiac Stone.

Former leader of the Gryphon Knights of Lionel. When Celebrant Bremondt fell in love with Beowulf's fiancée Reis, he had Beowulf declared a heretic, stripping him of rank. After Beowulf found Reis and freed her from the celebrant's draconic curse, she was then abducted and held for a time. Beowulf was reunited with her after defeating Celebrant Bremondt.
