I was finding the elusive Alexander Materia in Final Fantasy VII, as well. Alas, I still cannot find it, but I found something even better.

I used Google to look for a decent strategy guide for FFVII. I probably searched for "FFVII Walkthrough" or something along those lines. I found this site, and I've been using it for a while, mainly the FFIV, VI and VII walkthroughs.
I joined this forum in case I need to get more in-depth help on one of the aforementioned games than the guides provide. -------------------- |

I take it this is about how you found CoN then? I found it via Search Engine (Google) by searching FFV Walkthrough. It is the first one on the list. After using the Walkthrough for a while I noticed on the side bar the 'Most recent FFV Posts'.

I first encountered this site while looking for some trivia about FFVI, I don't remember very well, but I didn't pay much attention then. Later SilverMaduin told me about the whole community here and I got interested, though I hesitated for a long time before I actually registered.

Believe it or not, this is my fourth name on CoN.

I found CoN by Googling for info on Tactics. I kept CoN in mind for all my Tactics needs, and hence, I made names here to ask questions. However, since I would only come here once every time I played Tactics, I forgot my passwords. I finally decided to stick around here just recently. I don't have any other FF forums, and with FFV and FFVI being re-released and FFXII coming out, it's not like I could just sit and not talk about it.  So here I am; hope noone minds. I was searching for info on the Geomancer (creating it as a D&D character) and Google brought me to your site when I entered "Geomancer Skill Set + Final Fantasy Tactics." I must say, I am quite glad it did bring me here. I lost the site initially but then another search for the Lucavi found me here again. I liked it so I stayed.
I must say, you guys do a TERRIFIC job with ease of flow on your site and the tables/charts for each game are so simple to breeze through |

I found this site years ago, I don't recall what I was looking for back then. I do remember liking it and wanting to join the community but then restraining myself after seeing the large number of members it has.  ...Recently though, after playing the GBA version of Final Fantasy 6 and feeling too nostalgic, I tried to find a fan-site.. that's when I found Caves of Narshe again and decided to join it out of anger (for not finding any FF6 specific site)! It's nice to see the focal point is the old-school games rather than the newer ones which the majority of other FF sites seem to be obsessed with. </lifestory> I think 'Final Fantasy 6' is what I googled up. idk how many years ago, a few, i was playing ff6 again and i wanted to get all the side quests and everything, so i searched for ff6 and eventually i found this site. i liked it a lot, so i came back often for info on other games too. i only just became a member.

Arr...I first came to this site by way of a search engine that I don't really know.

I was bored, so I was looking up a bunch of articles on the Final Fantasy Wikia. (I think that might be CSM's site...) I read a lot of articles on FFVI characters, and a few of them had links to CoN. From there, I started lurking for a while before I decided to join up.
-------------------- FFIVDS looks awesome, right? Especially the character scans. I mean, look at that CGI scan of Yang. You see it and you just think...badass. And then you look at his polka-dot pants, likely stolen from a Dr. Seuss book. And then you just...shiver. |
