Do you know what Doom Gaze's hp is? 'Cause am trying to kill him but he runs off all the time when I do like 9000 dmg or so..

Yes , it's 55555 HP, for more information check CoN boss list., the damage you did to him remains, so next time he will have 9000 HP less.

He dies after you do enough damage. His HP does not regenerate between fights.
Just keep whacking away; IIRC he has 55,555 HP. After a few fights he'll run out. Edit: Eeeeh, beaten to it. Where is the boss section?

Does he just appear randomly or is he in some specific place, like over jidoor the third time you fight him?

Now just a minute ago I was flying with my airship and all of the sudden I got attacked when flying and I didn't even see Doom Gaze!
Only problem is that I play on ps. Great now I encountered him again and I wasn't looking on my screen.  Can you encounter Doom Gaze anywhere? By sea and land? You won't ever see him on your screen. You will be attacked by him only while you are flying, but the fact is that it is NOT random.

you can kill doom gaze if u use vanish and doom but dont use xzone
