Gem box turns magic into " X magic ".
Economizer lowers the Mp cost of ALL spells to 1. Which one should I pick? ![]() |

It's completely possible to get both. You can get Economizers through beating Brachosaurs in the dinos' forest or stealing them from Aquilas in Phoenix Cave and you win a lone Gem Box from the top of Fanatics' Tower. Just check the list on this very site.

X-Magic may grant you two spells at once, but Economizers grant 1 MP use for every spell, just like simeon said. X-Magic will only drain you of your MP twice as fast when u only needed to cast it once!

Gem box. You can always cast an offensive spell, then Quick, then two spells, then a spell and OSMOSE.

You SHOULD use both, but if you only use one: Gem box. Twice as much damage>less mp cost.

Eh...in a normal game, it's not really credible to claim that the Economizer is better. All you need is Osmose and you basically have spells at 0 MP cost whenever you want MP preservation. On other times, you have twice the damage output.
In LLG, where your character simply don't have the MP to cast spells such as Life3, the Ecomizer can be a great help, though. -------------------- |
