Well its been awhile since I last got on here..Well the reason is I've been back homw up in Poland (It's my home..original one). i stayed there with my old friend and my gramps...I love it up there no censored stuff get drunk all the time (althought thats not something to be proud of.) Well fellow CoN'rs reply with what ethnic group your family came from and what country they are from and if you would like to go back there just for a little while.

incidentally my mother's side of the family is polish. they emigrated slightly prior to the second world war after noticing disturbing trends in the european power structure. my father's side is cuban.

i've never been to either country. i don't think i'd really care to go to poland (i don't speak the language or know the culture), but i would kill to go to cuba. after undergrad is finished i plan on taking a month's vacation to cuba, but who knows how that'll turn out.

Irish Portugeise is actually very predominant in the parts of New England I'm from, so I've never really thought of anywhere but New England as being my "Home". We do lean heavily on our irish side, though, especially when it comes to music; I would like to go to Irland one day.

I've never been big on "heritage" as in where I came from. It just doesn't really seem like a big deal to me. I would like to travel to these places, but the reason would most likely to get away from the heat I'm always suffering through
Looking at history (despite the little attention they get, and the little I know) I like the Irish. They're cool
