That's right, out of all the Final Fantasy games, what characters would you put together to make your favorite team of 4? Since it would only be these 4, and no other characters to switch out with, select those that would work well together ability wise. Name the 4 characters you would use and their roles in the team.

My team would be thus:

Lightning - A mage knight, using her gunblade with the Ravager class and focusing on the physical spells rather than the sit-back-and-fire spells.

Locke - A thief-knight (if you played FF6, you'd know he could use all the best swords), utilizing the Espers to cast magic and summon Pheonix when the party is knocked out. Plus, he can steal.

Garnet - A white mage with a plethera of summons (though summoning doesn't replace the entire party like with Yuna). She'd be the healer in the background and an all out summoner during boss fights.

Auron - The guy with the big sword, he'd use his ability break techniques to weaken bosses, and his normal attack will kill anything less than bosses outright.

Please share your favorite team, but also please don't make fun of anyone else's decisions on this forum. Positive attitude!

There's a good one here. It's a year or so old but there's a load of good ideas. Mine were basically Yuna and Amarant as a summoner / final Aeon combo.

There's another one here. My party suggestion was Yuna and her broken maxed out Aeons flanked by three or four Onion Kids with full Onion equips (depending on party size). Nothing could touch that party. Ever.
