Who would be in your perfect FF party. There can only be five members and they can be from any FF game.
I'm still thinking about mine give me some insparation.

Five flashback Sephiroths with auto-restoration of all HP after each battle and nullification of any MP usage.

I guess it isn't quite necessary to equip more than one of them with a Black Materia as well.

Perfect party? Hehe, allow me to indulge myself in a fangirly wistful sigh... XD

1. Zidane (FF9)
Becuase I refuse to go anywhere without him. All that aside, fully trained up with and Ultima Weapon and quad-9 Thievery at his disposal...? He will make you cry. And then he'll headbutt you. Phear.

2. Celes (FF6)
Because I refuse to go anywhere without her, too. Two words. Runic Sword.

3. Dagger (FF9)
Because Zidane is an emotional wreck without her!! Er.. I mean... well, I can cram so many (USEFUL!) abilities on her, which make her magic/summoning much more efficient. Bahamut, Leviathan, Shiva, Odin. BOOYAH!!

4. Locke Cole (FF6)
Because, like Zidane, I refuse to go anywhere without him, too. XD Give him the Atma weapon, wind him up with some esperiffic goodness, and he'll tear the place apart. And then try to make off with all the goods, but that's why I love him.

5. Sabin (FF6)
Rrr... it's always the last slot that gives me the hardest time. This position could go to either Amarant, Vivi, Cloud, or Terra. But I'll go with Sabin because I love the lug. And Bum Rushing things always sends me into giggles. ...then again, if I'm using that as criteria, Edgar's Chainsaw would win him a slot in the Dream Team, too.

Id say

5.Barret-need somone with a gun

Trade Selphie with Eiko. I put Selphie just because I didn't find any of the healers particularly remarkable at the time, and I just went with Selphie because of Full Cure. But, you could get so much more out of a healer that can cast varying degrees of varying spells than a healer that has one uber-spell.

Speaking from the standpoint of just kicking serious butt,

1. Yuna -- Breaks the damage limit, stat maxing, and access to melee and magic commands

2. Zell -- I may not like him as a character, or the game he comes from, but with the junction system, he can have essentially maxed stats, immunity to all statuses and elements and his limit can be used to inflict between 500,000-1,000,000 in a single shot.......

3. Barrett -- In VII, in the end, it all comes down to the limits......and who has the best limit, you guessed it, Barrett. Ungarmax hits 18 times which when coupled with stat maxing, becomes ~180,000 damage and being that it's a level 3 limit break, it charges a bit faster than the other 18-hitter, Highwind.

4. Orlandu -- Cheap.......and Cheap. Again, a character who can have stats maxed. Aegis Shield and Feather Mantle with Abandon render this guy nearly immune to anything you throw at him. He also has unblockable attacks that add statuses (did I mention even before stat maxing he maxes out damage more often than not).

5. Agrias -- Think a slightly less varied Orlandu attack-wise, at least as good defensively, but essentially Immortal....

Mog and other moogles with a moogle charm for good luck and Gold Lances in each hand. First you drool at their cuteness then they stab you with their evil golden lances. Then you think to yourself "But their soooooo cute!"

Seifer, Kuja, Ramza, Quistis, and Beatrix is my favorite party, but not perfect 'cuz some of them wouldn't be able to co-exist.

Ramza Beoulve- Leader of the group with a heavy-hitting sword and high magic power. Celes, Squall, Cloud, Cecil and others fit the bill, but I choose Ramza outta' all of them.

Yuna- White Magic and Aeons to aid in the perfect party.

Zell Dincht- I believe Zell is the best support character in FF! Combat specialist with martial art skillz with a keen mind on history, machines, and computers. He and Ramza would co-exist perfectly.

Vivi- Best Black Mage ever!!

Red XIII- A perfect well-balanced warrior to round out the party. Give him a mastered Enemy SKill materia and he takes on the role of my favorite FF character class, the Blue Mage!

Because the best FF games both had five.

My perfect party would be Rydia, Cara/Krile (bare with Berserk, 2-Handed, and the Masamune), Olan, Porom, and Kain.

Wasabi Viniagrette: Mix 1/3 C rice vinegar, 2 Tbsp sesame oil, and 2 tsp powdered wasabi. Excellent over cold udon noodles and shiitake mushrooms for a Japanese pasta salad.

It's hard to consider which mages to use, since each game has different spells, but we'll just assume that there's a pool of commonly used spells, such as Holy and Fire.

FAVORITE CHARACTERS

1. Cecil (FF4): honorable paladin
2. Agrias (FFT): Holy Knight
3. Locke (FF6): adventurous thief
4. Rydia (FF4): exotic wizard
5. Aeris (FF7): would use as a healer

MOST POWERFUL PARTY

1. Orlandu (FFT): All Swordskill
2. Cloud (FFT): I like the FFT version, because you don't have to deal with Limit meters.
3. Edge (FF4): has ninja and thief abilities
4. Terra (FF6): Morph ability; can equip swords and armor
5. Rydia (FF4): has black magic and summon

When the party needs luck, he'll provide. Plus, let him race Cid.

Tifa Lockheart (FF7)
The good looks, plus the buff, go for it, girl.

Sephiroth - Mad powerful villian.
Seifer - Mad powerful villian - also has a Gunblade.
Auron - Imagine the full power of a maxed out Sphere Grid. Plus high intelligence needed and we've got a huge sword weilder so Cloud isn't needed.
Zell - Looks cool and is a fighter. Every team has the idiot.
Aeris - Great healer. Last of the ancients.
