Well, perhaps it's your first time in the Deep Dungeon, so here are the rules. You must found the exit to continue further. This means you have to examine every grid ,in order to found the exit and before killing all enemies. To found items, you must procced exactly...just keep examining every grid with any character with "MOVE-FIND" ability, and with low faith (don't ask why...I don't know either,...) You can found more information about Deep dungeon by just cliking here. .

It isn't dependent on faith, 100 - (character's Brave) is the probability that you find the "better" item on a move-find square. For that reason, it's a good reason to have a low-Brave character in your party (I usually make it Mustadio, since the Spell Guns rely on faith instead of Brave) in the endgame. In the Deep Dungeon all of the move-find squares have a sweet piece of equipment or an elixir as the better item and a phoenix as the worse item, you can use the CoN guide to find the items you want. The Chaos Blade and Chirijiraden are all on the last Deep Dungeon floor, End, so you have a ways to go, RAM.

Typically, the low Brave amounts of Beowulf and Rafa qualify them for the position of the Move-Finder. It's better to use them than to lower a different character's Brave.

my normal party for these are:
Rafa (my main item finder) Beowulf (use sleep or chicken on the enemies to keep them alive until I can find the exit) Orlandu- needed someone help kill off some of the enemies quicker Cloud- good training area if you train him to around 40s or so... and make sure he has his materia blade and finishing touch limit skill! anybody- I ether pick Agrias, Worker 8, Meliadoul, or anyone I choose. (I mostly pick Agrias for double lighting stabing) tips: make SURE Rafa is a White mage and has equip gun to for the spell guns. her high faith makes her deadly with a magic gun. and make sure you have a back up healer or you WILL lose the only hope you got at finding the exit. (make sure Rafa has someone to protect her and keep her away from the enemies. the spell guns should work well for rafa if you give her the "equip gun" ability so she can cause major damage from far away. if she gets killed off and you have no spare healer.. then just kill all the enemies. and try again. |

Let me give you some advice while exploring the dungeon
Possible spoilers: highlight to view when you get to the final floor, you will be forced to have Ramza for this battle because you will fight a Lucavi monster here named Elidibs. this will be a tough fight since you'll be climing stares and fighting many Apandas along the way. so make sure you have some good heavy hitters and healers |

Quote (Dark RAM @ 6th August 2005 11:20) how many levels are there to the deeep dark dungan? There are ten mini-dungeons you have to wade through. All are in pitch-black darkness when you enter them, but the maps and prizes you can get there are different. If that harsh visibility isn't enough, the exit squares that allow you to continue to other maps is randomized each time you enter (four possiblities, I believe. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |
