yeo, I've beaten the game, but I haven't beaten the deep dungeon quest yet.
I can't find the "Exit" on the first floor. can someone give me tips on locating the exit or is there a site where I can use to find the exits?

Go to www.gamefaqs.com . Then go to playstation section. It should be on one of the top ten faq lists. Then go to the deep dungeon faq

Equip move-find on all of your characters you will be using
if you have beowulf, use chicken and don't act. use mustadio to disablwe movement. kill of all the enemies but one. paralyze it. wait for the bodies to turn into crystals. it will illuminate the dungeon. use move-find near the bottom of the cliff. but the door moves everytime you go into the dungeon. thumbdown.gif

dang, I guess that cuted my work out.
nowonder I can't find an exit, it move every time I enter a battle in the dungeon.
I wish it would stay in one spot.
I've got all the special characters (and I'm not dissing anybody) and their moves.
I mostly had Beowulf use chicken on one of the enemies and let everybody else kill off the other enemies.

Actually, there are a few things wong in previous posts.
First, you don't need Move Find Item to find the exit : you just need it to get the 4 buried treasures on each level.
Second, the exit is randomize, true, but only on a selection of 5 specific panels for each floor. I have this at home, but not right now. I bet it's possible to find it at Gamefaqs.

Also, my advice would be to use Sleep instead of Don't Move / Don't Act, since it disables the ennemy with more efficiency, and lasts longer. It lasts even longer if you keep enhancing your Speed with Haste, Yell and Cheer Song. A good mage with Math Skill and Sleep is one of your best allies in the deep Dungeon.

GameFAQs has a "Deep Dungeon Exits FAQ" and it's perfect. It has maps and all the Move-Find items and all the exits. I just got it today; I, too, am in Deep Dungeon (though not for the first time).

One thing I recommend is "Chickening" your Move-Find person and then letting them go back up to 10 Brave. This way, you have a 90% chance of getting the good items. It still fails sometimes, though... It's so annoying when it does. pinch.gif

In the deep dungeon, if a spot with a sweet item has it's trap sprung, does that automatically mean you'll get the crappy item? It seems that way to me...

Not necessarily. The trap is sprung if: a) a character without Move-Find Item steps on that panel while there is still an item to be found on that panel, cool.gif any character steps on that panel after you get the item found on that panel.

The crap factor of the item you get is defined by the formula:

100 - Character's Brave = % Chance of getting good item

I can't think of anything to say, really, except... I think it's nice... Ha ha ha!

First decide on a good party to bring with you!

and decide on a person that should have Move find-item ability with Germinas Boots.

Beat most of the enemies or delay them from battling(you can use that Beowulf guy if you want) when they turn into spirit crystals don't get them or the enemy get them too. Why not get them? Because do you want to find your way in the dark? Better if you shad some light

The exits are usually found at the bottom at edges, pillars(rarely), and corners.
But the exits aren't at the same place as they use to be where you found them...
I usually find the exits at the bottom...

Well that's some basic information I have go check some sites, they have more specific information than I do...

Forgot to quote the Hamedo guy... Yep, I know everytime I find an item in a trap
I keep on find Phoenix down!!!! The only rare item I got was a stupid Yoi chii bow!!!!!! Like I use archers at a time like the end of the game!!!!
Thanks to the guy with the Oracle Avatar just made it clear to me!
