i'm quite sure. in addition to knight sword-staff and knight sword-rod, the single missing combination is knight sword-dagger. so i guess the question is up for grabs.

upon double-checking, i find that indeed ramza can equip knives. i am positive i checked that exact scenario when i was getting the answer to the question myself, and i marked it down as knives and knight swords could not be used in conjunction. my fault.
the question, then, goes to galsic. |

Yay for me! Anyhoo, I hardly know enough about FFT to challenge the lot of ye, so I'll just go with an easy one:
What were the enemies in Grog Hill up to when Ramza and Co. run into them and why did they choose to stay and fight? This post has been edited by Galsic on 17th November 2005 10:37 -------------------- |

They were deserters, and they decided to stay and fight because they recognized Ramza as a heretic and decided that if they killed him they could return to the army, claim a reward, and then receive honorable discharge rather than have to desert.

Beat up mustadio, Worker 8 does it successfully, but in a battle, it's attacks aren't even near to do the same effect! It must have used it's whole batteries for that...

I think "beat Mustadio up" came after Mustard Boy told Ramza to do better than the dance command. -------------------- Wasabi Viniagrette: Mix 1/3 C rice vinegar, 2 Tbsp sesame oil, and 2 tsp powdered wasabi. Quote [Ramza and Mustadio tries to insert the 'Aquarius' stone inside the big steel ball.] Mustadio: Will it really work with the stone? Besrodio: You saw it too, right? I'm sure it does. [Ramza inserts the stone.] Mustadio: Hey, look! It moved! [The steel ball transforms into a big giant robot. The giant robot tries to move but fails.] Mustadio: ....No? No go? [The giant's red eyes glows.] Steel Giant: System set up completed! Everything is normal! Master, what is your order? Mustadio: Wow! It spoke!! Steel Giant: Master, your order, please! Mustadio: Ramza, give him an order. Ramza: What!? An order? No, I'm scared!! Mustadio: Don't be silly. You're his master! Steel Giant: Repeat, order, please! Ramza: Well...well then... Dance!! Mustadio: Do better than that! Ramza: A, all right... [The robot starts to dance.] Mustadio: He's...dancing...... I wonder if he's strong? Steel Giant: I...am...very...strong! Ramza: Well...well then... Beat Mustadio up!! Mustadio: Do better than that! [The robot looks at Mustadio. Mustadio freaks out. The robot sends a huge wave of energy at Mustadio. Mustadio goes down cold.] Ramza: Help! Phoenix down! Where's the Phoenix down? I haven't gone trough/seen that part for years now, since I've been going on almost only Solo games and Single Class Challenges (also solo). you're up rbn! Me next guess, then:
Holy, Holy Bracelet, Holy Lance (thown as well), Holy Explosion I was under the impression, from other games (maybe even other FFs), that "healing" undead counted as Holy damage as well. I guess that's not the case with FFT, huh? This post has been edited by Galsic on 22nd November 2005 10:59 -------------------- |

Quote (Galsic @ 22nd November 2005 05:49) Holy Explosion The Holy Sword skills, including Holy Explosion, have no elemental component of their own -- they take their element from the weapon, which can be irritating if you're fighting Blue Dragons in the colliery with Ice Brands equipped (as I just remembered last night, ugh). And you're correct that FFT doesn't count healing spell-undead damage as holy, since it doesn't do double damage relative to its formula. You got all of them though (Holy, Holy Bracelet, Holy Lance (attack and throw)), so it'd be silly to just wait for someone to remove the extra one. ![]() -------------------- Wasabi Viniagrette: Mix 1/3 C rice vinegar, 2 Tbsp sesame oil, and 2 tsp powdered wasabi. I've learned quite a bit about this game just from this thread. In fact, I'm still learning a lot, so I don't have anything good to offer right now. Someone else can have it.

Everyone's favorite Dark Knight Gafgarion was once in command of a large group of knights, name them? (and just for the heck of it, why is he no longer in command of them....besides the fact that he is dead?)
