Head to the entrance, for the tall building in the southern part of town. Keep heading up until you come to what looks like an open door. Go into it, then press left to jump between buildings (but first get Thief Glove room above door, just before barrier.

This was taken from the very comprehensive guide that you could have found by looking at the Final fantasy VI section of this website.

This might be just me, but I don't use it. What I do is, I give him Genji Glove, a powerful weapon, the the Thief's Knife. That seems to work well.

They are the same; Brigand's Glove is simply the name used in the more recent versions.

P.S. You can also steal thief/brigand gloves from Scrappers (palette swap of Iron Fist enemy) in Zozo (WoR); though, that's only really useful if you really like Capture and want Gogo to do so as well.

Generally speaking i do not like mug/capture because it damages enemies and i lose my chance to steal if i fail repeatedly.

On the other hand, just steal i can do it untill i get it.

Ragnarock from my experience can be used in the tower of magi to turn urns into mega elexirs.

I am not 100% sure but i did it.I just don't remember how i did it because it was so long ago

Hey w3erdlife, if you're still looking.. In Zozo, find the "relic" shop. It's the bottom left-most building of the town that you enter to get to the building where you fight Dadaluma. Follow the same way you would trying to get to the top, but when you hit the first open window allowing you to jump to another building, don't jump. Instead, follow the stairs up another 2 levels, walk in the only door there and open the treasure chest, wherein you'll find the Thief Glove.
