Vormav realizes that you'd make perfect sacrifices to help meet his saint's bloodlust, and pulls out his Holy Stone - and, no big surprise on what happens next - turns into the massive Lucavi Hashmalum.

Graveyard of Airships

Alma will not help in this battle, as she is unconscious under the thrall of magic and can't be awoken. However, you don't need her; Hashmalum should be easily outmatched by your favorite battle party. While immensely strong and capable of attacks with a wide area of effect, he's also slow and unlikely to be the first to land a blow.

Use attacks like Holy and Lich, Holy Explosion and Lightning Stab, and he won't survive long. At this point, Meliadoul will be less useful as you'll no longer be dealing with characters with real equipment, so if you have her better equipped than Agrias it might be wise to swap their equipment. If you're more into using standard characters, Ninjas are another good choice because by now you should have enough good weapons to combine with their dual wielding and speed to do good physical damage.

As long as you're continuously attacking him, there's not much he can do to avoid his fate. He is powerful but not overly quick, in much the same way that most Lucavi have been, so the sheer force of numbers and the open battlefield should be enough to deal with the threat.

This battle should be pretty easy at this point in the game, though you should know that a second battle takes place immediately after this one completes, with no break that heals your party, and the next one is a bit harder.

Alma awakens after the battle and is confused about what's going on, but Hashmalum knows that he is defeated without the sufficient sacrifice to revive Ajora… so he offers up the only blood he has left to spill: his own.

Alma is slowly mutated into a larger-than-life hybrid of Saint Ajora, leaving the party utterly speechless.
