Final Fantasy Tactics Walkthrough
When you enter Zeltennia Castle, you find Delita at the church. He commends you on your bravery for entering a church as a heretic, but Ramza cuts to the chase and asks about Orlandeau. Before they can get far in their communication, however, the church is surrounded by Zalmour and his men, who order Ramza to come out.
Zeltennia Castle
This battle is really, really fun if you give characters Ignore Elevation, because then they can just jump straight up and attack Zalmour straight on without having to worry about any of his cronies. It's the easiest solution and it's loads of fun to abuse one of the least likeable enemies of the game.
Delita will stay on the ground and launch skills from Agrias' skillset at Zalmour from below, dealing even more damage; while Zalmour can be healed, it's entirely possible that you won't need to fight him yourself at all and can instead focus on grinding by killing off Zalmour's support team.
If you have Ignore Elevation, there's no strategy to this battle. Otherwise, launch summons and magic at him from below and he won't be able to hold on, or work your way up to the steeple through the rest of the enemies.
After the battle, Delita introduces Ramza to Valmafra and they tell Ramza that Orlandeau, as well as most of the other troops from both colors of the Lion, have gone off to Fort Besselat.
