Biography

You may have heard of this character before. While never explicitly stated, it seems pretty clear that this is the very Cloud from Final Fantasy VII, transported into Ivalice through ancient machines resurrected with the power of the Zodiac Stones and tinkering from Besrodio and Mustadio. Cloud can be recruited into the party only via a long and arduous sidequest, and even then will become powerful only by tracking down his Materia Blade.

Players who aren't familiar with Cloud's entire recruitment quest might think that seeing him in Goug is the end of it - but unless you go further to find the girl who looks suspiciously like a legendary flower seller, Cloud won't permanently join the team.

Brave Story Entries

A young man summoned from a different dimension by amachine called, the "Transmission Machine". This old generation machine was found by Machinist Besrodio, in the underground mine number 83 in the city of Goug. He may be affected by the transmission, but he mumbles, "My head..." or "...phiros...". Will he ever be able to go back to his own world?
