Agrias Oaks

Biography
Introduced immediately and then sidelined for Chapter One, Agrias is one of the first overpowered characters to fight alongside Ramza. We meet her as the commander of Ovelia's bodyguards, escorting the princess to Orbonne to stay under the protection of Simon. Agrias serves at the pleasure of the royal House Atkascha, though her skills of the Holy Sword imply previous training under or with connection to the Knights Templar under the Church of Glabados. In any event, her protective instincts for and fealty to Ovelia are absolute and drive her to stick with Ramza as his path unfolds. Agrias' skill in battle allows for strong ranged attacks with the chance for various debuffs, and helps considerably through the first half or two-thirds of the game. Beyond that, she remains useful, but characters with similar but more powerful skills become available towards the endgame and you may find her sidelined later on.Agrias starts skeptical of both the White Lion and Black Lion, believing that the Church, neutral in the brewing war, is the safest place for Ovelia to remain. That faith is quickly shaken in Chapter Two, after recovering the Princess and electing to take her to Lionel Castle, where she is for a second time separated from the Princess by force. After what she perceives as betrayal by the Church, Agrias is left with nowhere to turn to save Ovelia but Ramza's small force. Even then, as the group attempts to untangle the mystery and threat of the Lucavi, Agrias' main motivation in doing so is to stop their influence on the War of the Lions in order to keep Ovelia alive and in her rightful place as the Princess, or even Queen, of Ivalice. This mission eventually requires her to accept that Ovelia is safest with Delita and that her own place is with Ramza until all of the threats to the Crown are put to rest.
Personae Entries

She sympathizes with the princess for having to live a sequestered life.Vital Statistics
