Final Fantasy to Return to Windows?
While no games from the Final Fantasy XIII series were released for the platform, Kitase reminds Eurogamer that the original XIII development took place in a Windows environment, so the notion of a release was not restricted by the development itself but instead Squenix' own market analysis and concerns about DRM. Kitase stops well short of promising a release of Final Fantasy XV via Steam, but it's clear from his words that the interest is there and that a release could easily be in the cards if the numbers look to work in the company's favor.

That would honestly make my life SO much easier. I'm still not swayed either way towards an XBox One or PS4 (though definitely more towards PS4) in terms of really wanting or needing one, so hitting the PC, which I've started to keep on again, would be great!
It took all my willpower to NOT purchase VII/VIII when they debuted on Steam, which, I won't lie, would've only been for the OCD in me wanting to collect FF-related achievements...

They need to release much better quality PC versions if they're going to do this. It would be great to be able to play them on the PC but not if they're going to half-arse them again.
