You can't get Umaro in the World of Balance. Mog however you can get in your party after the Sealed Cave. You go back to Narshe and enter the treasury to see Lone Wolf robbing the chest that was locked before. Afterwards, chase him throughout the Narshe caves until you eventually arrive at the spot where Tritoch is. Lone Wolf will be holding a moogle (Mog) hostage. You can choose to save Mog, getting him on your team. Or you can choose to get the Gold Hairpin that Lone Wolf has. Your choice.

No, most of the rumors are completely fictitious and it states such at the top of the FFVI rumors page.
"WARNING! DANGER! NOTHING on this page can be accomplished on an unmodified version of FFIIIus or FFVI. If you attempt anything on this page, you are wasting your time. It's not just that noone else has found this stuff: it is all factually inaccurate and impossible to reproduce. Do not waste the time of anyone on CoN or any other discussion outlet in asking about these ENTIRELY UNTRUE rumours." -------------------- This one time I punched a bear in the forehead TO DEATH! Well, That's somewhat bad (Y-Y), I'm just curious in completeing all the rumours. However the rumour about the Paladin Ring; it says you will find three chests in one of Albrook shops (possibly: Armor shop). But i find just two chests and also one unreachable chest placed in another shop, not in the same shop (Weapon shop,i guest). These are totally different. >,<

Pretty sure that one is false too, most rumors concerning Final Fantasy VI are unfortuneately false.

No. Listen. If you read it on the CoN rumours page, it is NOT possible. No matter how much you want to believe it is, it is not. Don't bother trying, don't post asking, it is not possible, full stop.

Quote (DNdream @ 27th October 2006 00:27) Hmm, what's about getting General Leo *snip* True... sorta. Not what's in the rumors section semi-thankfully. http://www.mnrogar.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=3213#3213 The FC/Airship bug is explained on the first page. Read the post I linked to carefully though. This is something for hardcore fans, not for someone looking for a powerful new ally. However, if you want the ghosts, you can find them a few posts below the linked one, and they can be permanent. I think that if you where able to get general leo in the first place, there wouldnt be much of a demand or use for em. Its like you want what you cant get. right?
