I've done a search, and it turned up no results, so I've got to ask - How does one use the Mediator support ability Train? Do you have to use Invite on an enemy with critically low HP, or be within a certain distance when the enemy's HP becomes critical?

I know a whole lot about the mechanics of the game, and even I don't know this. I guess I never really payed attention to it. But what I gathered from th explanation was that you had to have an opponent with critically low hp, and then use invite on them - so the first option. But that's just what I gathered. Don't use mediators very much, so I never cared to try.
EDIT: actually, i think perhaps i do remember this. I think that your mediator his/herself has to cause the enemy to fall to critical hp. then i think it works. Train - 450 JP, Mediator
If you strike a monster directly with your weapon (e,g., through ATTACK, CHARGE, or Counter), and that monster is Critical after the attack resolves, you will also add: Invite to that same monster. So there ya go. Source: Battle Mechanics Guide -------------------- With the lights out It's less dangerous |
