Just wondering if there is a place where the wildbow pigs frequently appear or is it mostly luck in getting them on the battle field?

They are a rare occurence, but they can be found in the swamp levels....(it may just be me, but I find them more frequently in Dolbodar Swamp)

Actually, Wildbows will never appear in any battles in the game. Their lower forms can be found, however, in five places.

1) Dolbodar Swamp, in random battles.
2) Zigolis Swamp, in the story battle there.
3) Finath River, in the story battle.
4) Colliery Underground, Second Floor, in the story (bonus/secret) battle there.
5) Deep Dungeon, on the END floor.

Obviously, once you catch a Uribo or Porky, you can breed up to a Wildbow.

I can';t remember if this battle was already listed (can't remember the names of most of them.)

But in the second battle with beowulf as a guest, they were two porkies

that's where i got my first one.

+1 for A_True_Stygma. That's the only way to get one that I know of. Never seen one in the wild, ever.

Also, you may want to keep a wildbow (wildboar actually) in your party for much easier extra ribbons.
Since the odds of getting a wildbow with an uribo are either impossible or extremely low, there is an higher probability with porkies and much higher with the actual wildbow.

And of course, save before poaching since the odds of getting a ribbon is 25%. tongue.gif

And I tell you; you wouldn't want to breed a wildbow again.
