At least around 120 hours (or was it years?) on FF7 or so. Maybe more on other FF games I dunno. But I spend most of the time only playing FF games so they would have long files.

1988 hours on the MUD that I play. I haven't played it regularly since the current semester, and I don't get the feeling that I'll go back. That's 1988 hours on my main character (For comparison, the person on the MUD who has the most hours logged that is not allowed to log continuously has 24752 hours), so it's well over 2000 and likely 3000 on all the characters I've ever played.

If you're looking for console, either 64 hours on one file on Pokémon Red, or possibly an FFT file out there somewhere.

Can you hear it breathing?
And hey, put the laptop down for a while
In the night there is something wild
I feel it, it's leaving me

My files in Dragon Quest seem to finish up past 100 hours. My VII file has about 130 hours and I haven't even mastered all the classes. My IX file is almost finished(I'm stuck at the Darksteel Dragon) with about 110 hours. blink.gif

Yup, I remember I always want it to know how much time I wasted/spend playing this game, since it never ends it goes on forever. I set the timer to the last recorded time and continued on. That's a lot of time, don't you guys think?

Xenogears

96 hours

Never got everything, but my characters were quite strong.

Dragon Quest VIII

102 hours

Never finished it, and some moron accidentaly overwrote the file, still thinking about starting all over again, which I don't mind, but I'm currently hooked on Final Fantasy XII.

Final Fantasy VII

80 hours (longest)
19 hours (fastest)

After quickly going through and trying a few games I've come up with a few figures:

~179:46 on Pokemon Yellow. I caught all 150 Pokemon and beat the Elite Four countless times.

~84:46 on Golden Sun: The Lost Age. I got all the Djinn, Summons, etc. That file was also my most serious attempt at getting characters on a game to level 99. They never made it, but it's close.

There's probably other games I've spent a long time on but I most likely erased the files. I think I've spent somewhere around 400 hours on Super Smash Bros. Melee, actually.

I mentioned earlier in this thread that my longest single file was FFT, at around 130 hours, but earlier today I did some cleaning, rearranging, and backing up of my memory cards, and it turns out that I have 144 hours on my longest FFT file, 189 hours on my longest Disgaea file, and a winning 281 hours of playtime on my Soul Calibur 2 save file. SC 3 has around 120 or so, but I definitely spent much more time on 2. My old Pokemon Gold file is probably up in the mid 100s range, too, but I don't know where it is.

I don't exactly have the numbers in front of me but I know for a fact that I have seen one of my FFVII files make it past 200 hours. If memory serves me correctly I remember it being in the vicinity of 280 hours. Mind you I spent tons of time trying to find Alexander, breed a gold chocobo, race my chocobos, battle square preparations, etc. If you're really into trying to master, yes master, a game you can easily exceed 200 hours.

Get this . . . 307 hours on Pokemon Leaf Green with about 20 level 100's including all the legendries. I got so attached to the save file i cried after i ran over it (not really, how sad do you think i am?) (Do not answer that).

Yay, someone finally beat my Pokemon Emerald record:

293:45 hours

The first 25 hours were spent beating the game. The remaining 270 hours are Battle Factory losses battles and failed/succesful EV training.

When I first played FF9, I had over 100+ hours of playtime in Disc 4. I really sucked back then because it was 3d, so this was considered my first 3d RPG. I think second would have been FF7 at 96-97 hours in Disc 3 methinks (at the Gold Saucer with ten billion gil to spend it on mini games).
