There are FF6 keychains around, which are adorable enough to count as toys. You'll find them popping up on eBay every so often. There's also a ceramic Celes and Opera house figurine, which unfortunately is a lot more expensive and less toylike, as well as "art collections" which are basically trading cards. Again, eBay.

I happened across a couple of pewter figurines once (yet again, eBay!), and they were absolutely gorgeous. Bit of a limited selection, with only Tina and Ultros as part of a series. Still, a must-find. I also had a link to a friend's site who had an entire collection of FFVI figures/plushies posted on her homepage. Woe is me, though, I've long since lost that link. pinch.gif

Apparently way back when the game first came out Bandai released two ugly gashapon collections. Characters present were Locke, Terra, Celes, Edgar, Sabin, Cyan, Shadow, Mog, Setzer, Gau, Strago, Realm, Gogo, Umaro, Kefka, and Leo. I imagine these would be extremely difficult to find nowaday, especially outside of Japan.

Only pic I could find: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/wal...9297525sff6.jpg

I. Want. That. Locke. Gashapon!!1

blink.gif!!

You have seriously made my FF6 fangirly heart go pitter-patter with that. XD

I was able to get a hold of a few Setzer figures (the Gashapon keychains), which I was only able to find out of random sheer luck in a shop in Akihabara. They also had the Celes/Operahouse figurine, but alas, it wasn't for sale. XP

There is also a new Kefka figure coming out next week, as part of the the "FF Master Creatures" collection. He's in his Seraphim-like form (ie. the final battle form). I've seen the ones up for display at a few stores around here, and he's impressive, but the one I REALLY want is FF9's Leviathan. Hehe.

Outta the metallic/pewter figurines, I remember a second series consisting of Kappa and (possibly) Mog, among a few others that may or may not exist. I've only viewed 'em once in a pair of online photos, so my memory's kinda fuzzy. It's likely these were made by a different company than the Terra/Ultros figures, though...

I've, in the past, also come across a set of FFVI character trading cards by Bandai, who I believe have released corresponding sets for most FF games.

Normally I find these and a couple of the other odds 'n' ends that've already been mentioned on eBay, and a lot more frequently than I often expect; mounds of keychains, the ceramic Opera Celes/Maria and Opera House figures and - although only once - two or three plushies have all popped up on me so far. In fact, I've gathered myself a few of the keychains (mostly the good ones; not the uglies) via eBay and other assorted 'Net auctions in the last year or so. Thus far I have Edgar, Kefka, Terra (one of two I'm positive were made by Bandai), Setzer and Mog (also from Bandai) in my tiny collection.

Edit
I was curious, so here's a page with pics of each figure in the new Final Fantasy Master Creatures set. They're all impressive, indeed. I especially like, well, all of 'em! I'll certainly look into purchasing one or two once I can afford to do so.

If you're buying the Kefka Master Creature (I might, it does look pretty awesome) please buy it from here:

That will get CoN some credit for you doing so, and if you're going to buy it anyway, why not help us out?

Edit
They will have all the Master Creatures. You can also use our search box to search for them until I finally get the bloody pages set up on CoN.

Gladly. After all, if I buy any at all, it'll definitely be through Amazon (given that they'll at least be getting in four of the five figurines, and I like to keep the distribution of my credit card info down to the websites I often buy from and trust).

Ah, okay. My initial search results yielded a preordering page for all the figures except Bahamut; as one of the two I would most like to have, it's good to know things won't remain that way.

Um that Kefka kind of gives me the vapors.

I think I may have had a non-platonic physical reaction to that.

Um I need a minute here.

I saw the Master Creature; it does look pretty cool. I also remember seeing a homemade Kefka action figure in a set of five including Fei Fong Wong, Crono, Sephiroth, and Squall as well. -CSM

Haha, cool. I've seen other FF6 merchandise like foil covered trading cards, comics, etc.

I like the Cefca Palazzo figure. Though the skeletual look on his face is kinda creepy.

I like the Shadow and Mog ones myself. Also, the Kefka Master Creature does look pretty cool. Not a bad price either.
