I was wondering were is the W-Item materia is i'v read the walkthrough and still can't find it

I was told that it's found in the migar tunells under sec 8 on the 2nd mission in the begining. So goiong with that information I started a new gome for that materia but still can't find it.
The digging in Bone Village isn't working for me and I think ethier doing some thing wrong or it's not there pls help
