Hey, have any of you guys who've played FF8 found out this secret??? While roaming around parts of Esther in search of some Malboros and around Trabia I encountered these weird battles where there were no enemies, all there were was these weird UFOs flying across with these objects, I think one was a symbol and the other was like, a moa Head statue?? Does anyone know where the other objects are if there are any?? I asked some other people, they said you fight an alien and if you feed it 5 Elixers it gives you a PuPu card or something? He said it's really rare, has anyone else encountered this??

There are six total encounters, but you have to encounter it at four locations first, the Winhill Bluffs (cow), the Mandy Beach south of Timber (Maoi head), the Kashkabald Desert (pyramid), and the Trabia Heath Peninsula, east of Trabia Garden (wierd symbol). After that, you land the Ragnarok on the plateau north of Grandidi Forest's Chocobo Forest. You'll encounter the UFO in a fight, and after winning, you'll get an Aegis Armlet. Afterwards, you need to make sure you have five Elixirs, and then return to Balamb continent at the place where Balamb Garden used to be (the Alcauld Plains). Then, you should encounter the alien, PuPu, again, and you'll have to feed him five Elixirs. Afterwards, he'll reward you with the PuPu card (refines to three LuvLuvGs if I recall...)
You can also kill him for an Accelerator, but feeding him Elixirs is the only way to get his card. You can also equip Enc-None and still encounter the UFO, so don't worry about that. Edit: My poor FFVIII Brady Guide is all beat up *cries* What a shame, that guide was actually pretty good, for a print guide.
