Ok, personally, I think it's a little too stupid of me to be asking this question this early in the game, but I need help again, and I thought "What's a better way to get help than from my good friends at CoN."

Well. I just beat Chrono Trigger, and I'm now moving on to FFIII, which I guess is FFVI, from what I've heard, and that what the Americans call FFIII is a totally different game. Well, I'm in the beginning, Mt. Kolt, and was wondering, is there anyone who has played this game for the SNES9X emulator??? Because while fighting Vargos on Mt. Kolt, as Sadin, I can't seem to use Blitz correctly... I know it's LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT on the keypad, and then the A button, which is Alt on my computer. Now, for some reason, no matter how many times I do this, it keeps saying inproper Blitz input. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or if the game is just screwed up on emulators?

Well we've had several threads like this before
I'll give you the most common reason why you're failing at blitzes
you inputtng the blitz at the wrong time
press confirm on the blitz command
the hand should then be flashing on Sabin
hit Left right Left
confirm

the blitz should work

Thanks dude, that worked. I was busy pressing left, right, left after I confirmed it I guess. Thanks again

Also, the Alt key might do weird things to SNES9x because it's within Windows and Alt normally means to go to the menus. I'm not sure if this is the case, though, because I've mapped buttons to letters and punctuation marks for as long as I can remember, with the exception below.

As a relevant sidenote, I moved the controls from the simple arrows because I had trouble doing other Blitzes that used diagonal directions. While you're supposed to rotate your finger on the control pad, I ended up defining eight keys for all eight directions (including diagonals) and simply pressing them one by one--and that has given me absolutely no trouble since then.

I'm not sure if this is just a ZSNES thing, but for the diagonals, you can just do either of the directions. So for up-left, you can hit up, or left.

That's actually how the diagnals would operate normally.
