Hey all, me again. Many thanks for recommendations and links to Djibriel's Rage Guide. Quick clarification question about it though: At the end of part 6.2, is the Save/Reset bit only applicable for emulators? It sounded like the "picking" trick was, though I wasn't sure if the +13 to the battle pack # was as well or not. Anyone have any information on how the cartridges (especially FF6j) work?
Secondly, as this time around I decided to get Ragnarok's esper, as I've been putzing around on the Veldt trying to get that last damned group *ahem* I've been playing around with the Metamorph summon. (Hooray for Gogo's Mimic special ability, heh heh.) Thanks to this spell I've been able to get several rather rare items (such as three Relic Rings, an extra Thornlet or two, coupla Pod Bracelets, some Cursed Rings, etc.), and I noticed that generally it seems like each monster has three different possible Metamorph results. For example, the Sr. Behemoth can be turned into a Thornlet, Cursed Ring, or Relic Ring. Anyway, I was curious: has anyone with Djibriel's level of patience and anal-retentiveness made a Metamorph list yet? I was looking around Tenchi no Houkai earlier, but didn't see one. I'm also curious if anyone else who's played FF6j has noticed item discrepancies? I've noticed that I can't steal Genji Gloves from Dragons (not Wiry Drgns as I initially posted; my bad) in it while I could in both the American Super Nintendo and Playstation versions, for example. I'm wondering if this might affect a Metamorph list... This post has been edited by AverageSmartGuy on 30th September 2006 12:02 |

I wasn't aware of any item discrepencies between the two released versions of FF VI, though, and if there are I'm also not positive if the site covers them. That's a question for the likes of R51, Neal, or Djibriel, probably. -------------------- |

@laszlow
Interesting, I just checked a page from your link there and it didn't list anything for the Sr. Behemoth... The one with the White Dragon listed Cure Ring and Safety Bit, though nothing about a Pod Bracelet (a couple of which I've gotten now in FF6j)... Thanks for the initial link though. Anyone else got any information item discrepancy-wise or another Metamorph list, etc.? |

I made this Relic guide.. Go look up "Cursed Ring" and you should have some luck. My experience shows that enemies that drop the same item usually have the same set. -CSM

Now, maybe we never finished it, but CoN's enemy list at one time was intended to be updated using Yousei's editor, which grabs the steal and drop lists directly from the US 1.0 SNES ROM. Perhaps we never finished the update, but I think we did.

You sure you're not talking about FF3usME, or perhaps my own guide, which is also a direct rip from the game data? -------------------- |

It doesn't matter which you use, though. It'd be impossible to tell which was the source since they all just repeat what the game data says. ![]() -------------------- |
