Right, well here's the story, Final fantasy 7 is probably my favourite game of all time. After I finished the game in 1997 i knew the basic story but very little else, now, 9 years on, and after too many replays i know alot more but far from everything, so what happens now? square release a whole new range of games and two films about the events surrounding ff7! And i suddenly feel clueless about the story, i keep hearing about these extra things (games, info) that wont be released over here (uk), or about random bits of info that are on the net and various other places where the story is continued. now, i've seen advent children and i'v seen last order, but other than that and playing the game i'm lost with these new storys poppin up thick and fast!
so, (finally he's got to the goddamn point!!) thats when i thought, why not ask CoN to help me?? i'm sure there are lots of people in a similair, or even worse situation, so what i'm askin is for all you ff7 buffs to combine your knowledge on this topic and try to make some goddamn sense of these new chapters in the ff7 series. Any help, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated. Cheers. |

Maybe you would have a bit more luck in here if you asked specific questions about what you don't understand.
Leaving it as open-ended as you did probably won't net you anything info-wise that you didn't already know. -------------------- Join the Army, see the world, meet interesting people - and kill them. ~Pacifist Badge, 1978 |

To my knowledge, the only things not being released in the UK at some point are:
-Before Crisis -The novellas (Released as Japanese Only) -Last Order (And that's probably going to get released anyway.) Everything else is being released. Before Crisis merely buggers up the realism, the novellas just expand on Advent Cashin, and Last Order just expands on the reactor incident in Nibelheim. Apparently, they plan to make it an active franchise until the 20th anniversary of FF7. In other words, they want as much cash as possible. Only 11 years to go though and if we're lucky the world will end in 2012! This should cover everything, or do you mean the new FF7 games?

Most of the stuff you can find at Squenix's site... but if you mean lots of details, look at some reviews, see if they discuss plot. But yes be more specific since all of this might not be what your looking for. >.> -------------------- Kel'Thuzad: She is persistent. Reminds me of you, death knight.
