Well, I have 65 lvl Cloud-Barret-Cid and with: W-item, master materia (3), W-summon.
I saw at the strategy guide, you recommend entering the battle with 1 living character, then use w-item to revive the others. Can I defeat it? Oh and, Where can I find that "GuideBook"? BTW Emerald was way easier than Ruby, beated it without KoTR (now I have KoTR cuz I got the Master Summon)...It's more of a challenge to get a Gold "Wark Wark" than beat that Emerald. try haveing cat sith alive and useing his slots try to instanly kill the ruby weapon it worked for me on my 38th try have fun

Hah, I killed it just after posting this thread! LOL! haha he's freaking easy, and FFVII final bosses are too freaking easy. Is there any good challenge? Geez, Ruby goes down with 10+ KoTR, and Emerald is way easier. Jenova SYNTHESIS dies only with KoTR, so does Bizzaro sephiroth... fff...

Yes Kotr makes everything easy the real test is beating them both without it and it a decent time. -------------------- Finished NSG FFX, Playing FFIV again. |

If you want a challenge, try beating that dude's time of 1 minute 18 seconds to defeat Emerald (without Cait Sith's Slots). Or take low level characters, or under-equipped characters.

Try fighting him with Cloud alone with no accessory or materia. It's really, really, annoying when you get turned into a frog but it's much more of a challenge. You need Speed Drinks, Lunar Curtains, Light Curtains and Hero Drinks - then luck! -------------------- Scepticism, that dry rot of the intellect, had not left one entire idea in his mind.
