Leo and Daryl. I think their characters have the most relevence to the story, and would add a lot more to the meaning of the battles and stuff. Getting them would be really fun and emotional side quests.

It's really too bad Leo had to die, he was a cool character, despite his short screen time.

You don't get to name Magus in Crono Trigger until you get him, this prevents you from knowing he would join (Unless you got the PS version, or read it somewhere else)

Why is that? I never played the PS version.

I think that Banon and Leo would be be coolest people to come. Health and Leo's abilities were awsome, and they seem most likely to join if they didn't fall to their fates.

I would probably pick Crono and Magus or Kain and Cecil. Would be game over wink.gif

I'd probably take General Leo as well, considering his overwhelming power, but one thing has been bugging me. Why is it that there is a FFVI sprite of Squall in the avatar choices? Is he like a secret character on the PS1 version? Or was that just some idea that someone actually put forth? Otherwise, the other would probably be the Lone Wolf idea I heard before. He would make an excellent addition to the team, giving another character that can steal/capture rare items. Someone like that for Locke to compete with would add a fun little twist to the story.

Baram...wasn't he that friend of Shadow's? If he were another ninja, that would be freakin' sweet! More speed and attack power to make a team more brutal! NICE!

I know someone else posted this, but I would pick Biggs and Wedge. Considering that special commands tend to be replaced by magitek when riding in magitek armor, we don't really know what they can do, so maybe they don't suck. Heck, even if it was just magitek abilities, it would still be better than Runic.

Hmm, this gives me an idea for a fanfic...

I'd really like to see Maduin and Vargas in your party. Second goes to the ghost and Leo, third goes to Biggs and Wedge.

I bet Arvis would kick major ass in the game. The guy looked a bit like Leo too.

The last spot I would fill would be Siegfried!! His sword skills would probrably be cooler than Leos shock =]

Biggs and Wedge. One of them would stay in the Magitek Armor (probably Wedge)

I wouldn't use characters like Cid, Leo, and Gestahl. I woul lengthen the game and add two completely new characters, maybe a pirate that attacks them on water, then joins them for some reason.

I think a Tonberry would be cool. and Siegfried.

BTW, Siegfried and Ziegfried are definitely different characters, you can tell because Ziegfried's attacks were subpar and he was an easy kill on the Phantrom Train and then when you fight Siegfried in the colliseum he's way better.

I think someone mentioned that Leo wouldn't get to use Magic because he refused a magic infusion, but using Espers is totally different than that. You won't learn magic 'naturally' unelss you get an infusion ala Celes and Terra, but you can still use magic by equipping espers like Locke and Edgar, and the majority of the rest of the party.

Ultros would be, by far, the most fun. He practically has his own skillset, anyway (tentacle, 8arms, imp, etc) and he's already immeshed in the plot. And just not quite evil enough to be above flipping.

Ownzer. He's the only 'character' large enough to fill two spaces.
