I've played this game lots of times, but it's the first time I've gone for a 100% completion. I was doing so well until I got up to a glitch with dating Helena. My brother and I were on the same mission and he was dating Helena but when I played my block she just wouldn't appear and it still said Progress with Helena 10%. Has this ever happened to anyone?
I've got to start all over again but I don't mind.

If you've been running around different cities, the girlfriends will sporadically not appear. Just hang out near her place and advance time a few days (save multiple times - that usually does the trick).

The only time you're COMPLETELY out of luck with the girlfriends is if you kill the two that you unlock through missions. You can't ever get them back, since you can't try to ask them on dates again, as far as I know.

First off, you don't need to date any of the girls to get 100% completion rating (except for the mission with Denise, but you don't have to date her after that). But maybe you want 100% with each girl anyway.

Helena has some weird stuff happening with her progression rating though. It seems that just standing before her without even attempting to talk to her will get you a 10% rating anyway. Maybe you have to get hit by her gun, but I did have a 10% even though she wasn't my girlfriend without talking to her or getting hit by her shots.

Try going back to Los Santos and then go back to her shooting spot on her timetable (she's there most of the time, iirc, but sometimes when you're circling in Blueberry she'll be gone in 30 minutes of gametime).

I remember going insane with San Andreas... Once I got 100% I maxed out my dating stats, got gold in all vehicle schools, maxed gambling, and any other small detail I could master... man they need to release a new one. =( I blame Jack.
