I like Ultima because of the amount of damage it gives and the added effects in the Final Fantasy Anthology.

I'm a big fan of Merton myself, just because you can equip your party with fire-absorbing equipment and heal your entire party for a ton and damage the entire enemy party for quite a bit. It's a great spell, really.

For future reference, Setzer, before you make a new thread, do a quick search in the forum using keywords like "favorite magic spell" or even just "spell". This way, you'll reduce the risk of making a new topic that already exists (such as the Gogo topic and this one). I let it go those times because the other Gogo threads were closed and the last fave magic thread was 2 years ago. Just a suggestion for future reference.
