Edward from FFIV could beat Sephiroth; first he'd hide to avoid sephiroth's attacks, then sing him to sleep, and slit his throat. done deal.

i would definately say Vincent...hed beat sephiroth's butt!
Not only was he a very underrated character in AC since he didnt have his transformations avaliable (?), but i have made him so powerful at a max level so that his limit abilities on lvl 4 would cause 9999 with every attack and literally overkill on the super attacks! I love the idea of Cait Sith and Setzer (Selphie?) killing him instantly with the use of Dice and/or Slots. Cloud is my answer 'cause he's done it twice in the FFVII compilation and the KH games.

Ohh definately
Frog would use Leap slash, until sephiroth finally would get a slice in (trust me frog will have hit him a bunch of times, leap slash wouild operate like "Jump" in final fantasy) then once Sephiroth gets a hit he'll greatly wound frog, but what Sephiroth doesn't know is that he's dug his own grave, for Frog will summon a giant frog to smash Sephiroth.
