We'll time to start the chocobo sidequest, so here is what i've done.

Catching 2 Chocobo's, sent them back to the stable (fence).

Talked to the old man about renting Chocobo stables, must have done it two or tree times already, paid 30k gil.

Went to the stables and talked to Chocobo Billy about Moving Chocobo's, he then tells me "Use the directional buttons and O.

So i enter the Chocobo selection mode, and select my Chocobo by pressing O, and then i go back, going to the menu Feed Chocobo, and....

"There are no Chocobos' in the stable" >_>

Anyone know if i did something wrong here, or is it some kind of glitch?

Are you sure that your controls are set on the default? (I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the same thing you are though...)

No, you're thinking off the "can't select the chocobo i want to breed/feed". What phobia's talking about is new to me.

Uhh.. not sure what you mean here. Do you change menus, or what?

Basicly what happens after you are in the black background choosing between the chocobo's that you have captured. According to Choco Billy the O button is the confirm button. The usuall confirm sound come's, and i get back to Cloud where i can run around or talk to him again

So yeah, from that point after choosing a Chocobo to put in the stables, and then trying to feed one through the conversation options i get the answer above.

Try setting the controls to default, If you set X to confirm, then Billy can't tell, and you'll just exit out of the menu.

Do you still have this problem when you rent the stables BEFORE catching Chocobos? What happens when you have the two Chocobos in the yard, rent a stable, and then catch a third Chocobo? Does it let you put the third Chocobo in the stable?

i ran across the marsh on disc 1 once, didnt even get attacked by the zolom either

but i was not impressed by the time i got 2 disk 2, i cudnt buy the chocobo lure materia, effectivly ending that games chances of me gettin the knights of the round and the other materias chocobos can only get u 2

^ I think you could talk to the Chocobos in the stables for another Lure, can't you? But anyway, you should make a new thread for that...

Well, if it isn't the cancel glitch, then what can it be? Sounds confusing.

You were right, this was the problem. I had set my Cancel to X instead of O.
