Where is Kaipo?

i just started playing ff4 advance and i am at the very begining just after you get beaten by that little girl and end up in the desert i have no idea where to go. I also have the ps version and there is a town in the middle of the desert. in the gba version in dusnt apeer to be there. can neone help me?? am i just not looking hard enough??

Look for the oasis town of Kaipo. It's located in the middle of the desert, a little closer to the West than to the East. Make sure you talk to everyone in Kaipo before leaving.

Sry guys wasnt looking hard enough i found it now sure is a big desert though.>< Rydia is anoying to keep alive early on from the desert enemys

I'm assuming that you're playing the SNES hard-type version, but a lot of this advice would also apply to the GBA, PS1, and easy-type versions.

Stay close to the town and get Rydia to at least level 5 before you travel to the Underground Waterway. The reason I say level 5 is that this is when she learns Thunder/Lit/Bolt, which is very useful in the Underground Waterway. Lightning is the most common elemental weakness in this area, followed by Ice.
