how do i submit/use a custom avatar?

You don't. Not unless it's FF-related and you can convince the staff to upload it. That's pretty rare though.

Only staff get custom avatars, which have to be video-game related unless you're R51.
You can submit new avatars if you think we're lacking in some area, but they have to be completely ready to use, related to a game that the site covers, and not personal (not just for you). Most importantly, someone on the staff has to think it's worth implementing them. This has happened in recent history--I think Aora made the stylized FFT avatars that some users have. The only exception to these rules is the caped moogle, which was created by a member and added a long time ago. It's highly unlikely that another custom avatar will be added for general use. -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |
