Feed him only fast fish - it's easy to tell the difference. If there are no fast fish, then just go back to the house and talk to him. This will trigger a new set of fish in the sea.
Keep on feeding him....it should take less than ten times. By the way, you dont lose or gain anything if he dies or stays alive. -------------------- I'VE HAD AN ETERNITY TO PONDER THE MEANING OF THINGS. AND NOW I HAVE AN ANSWER... |

Unfortunately, he doesn't even do anything even if you do save him. You'll still get Palidor. I just let him die because the story is better with the Celes attempted suicide scene.
