i got to the part where i gave the black materia to red XIIIII, and i was in god forgot the area. the 30min story scene, and cloud gives it to sephy. and all the weapons emerge. well the game crashes at that point and have to start the whole story again, showing zach and all of that. i run it on PC, any patches to help fix that crash or anything? Need HELP

Yep, that really sucks. my game crashed around there as well and i had to restart everything. You've probably fixed the problem by now, and i'm sorry for being so inane, but if you can start from the last save point, you might as well do so, that's probably the easiest way out.

If the problem persists, you might wanna consider getting another copy of FF7? i don't know any patches to fix that, but if it keeps on crashing, the problem might be innate in the product. But then again, like i said, you've probably fixed the problem by now.

I take it you're running FF7 under Windows XP, as I am. You need a windowsXP patch, since FF7 was designed for win '95 ports (or something like that)...The web is crawling with them.
