I saw it once before I played the game...then once after I played it. The movie is to die for!!!!!

I love how Loz's ringtone is the victory theme. At first I was like ''Holy Crap! Music actually plays when they kill stuff'' Then Loz gets up ''...OIC wut u did thar...''

I considered watching the movie... then I found a shorter version online.

Advent Children: the short version

And now I don't need to watch the long and boring movie.

A personal opinion, though. I may or may not be accused of drifting away from the topic's real point, but I think the movie is just an excuse to exploit a good game for even more cash, and anyone who sees or plays anything related to FF7 other than the game itself is a dirty filthy fanboy. (greatly exaggerated point to achieve comical effect)

Now if you excuse me, I have to watch Last Order.

I saw it three times.

First in Japanese, since all the cool kids were doing it.

Second time in English, if only to see if it would make more sense to me in my native language (no such luck)

Third time when a friend of mine heard I'd bought it (I'm such a sucker for extras) and wanted to see it for themself.

It has since been relegated to 'bookshelf dust-trap' duties.

A good few times
Course, I much prefer Advent CHildren's story to the original games, I mean, at least Sephiroth actually DID something in AC

I don't get all the Spirits Within hate, specially the "It's not like Final Fantasy" complaints
If Ghosts, Monsters, Magical Souls, Schizotech, Living Planets (*Cough*Life Stream*Cough*), Energy Made from life force (*Cough* Mako *Cough*), Alien Planets trying to assimilate the main planet (*Cough*Garland IX's goal*Cough*), complex relationships, self rightious pratts with far too much power and a variety of interesting characters isn't like Final Fantasy then I'm at a loss to know what is?

Well, I am a fan of FF7. But I never watched the movie. One thing is to enjoy the game - and it was great. The other's to watch Last Order, play Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerebrus, watch Advent Childer, and play Kindom Hearts just to see Cloud and Sephiroth feeding your fandom. Apart from that joke post earlier. I'll never watch the movie. I liked the game, yes, but it's just that. A game. I draw the line between loving and worshipping.
